Chess Cheat Detector can now keep an eye on a player for you. Premium members can watch a Chess.com or Lichess profile, and every new game that account plays is analyzed automatically.
Why
A single game rarely tells you much. Honest players have brilliant games, and cheaters don't use an engine for every move. What's worth watching is the pattern across many games, and until now that meant pasting each game in by hand or running a profile deep dive every so often.
Watched profiles do it for you. Use it on your own account, a student you coach, or a rival you're not quite sure about.
How it works
- Enter a username. On the Premium page, open the Watched profiles tab and type the player's username into the Chess.com or Lichess column.
- New games are picked up automatically. Any game the account has finished since the last check is imported and queued for analysis. Only games played after you start watching are included. For the account's earlier games, run a profile deep dive.
- Results appear as they finish. Each game shows both players' ratings and likelihood bands, and links to the full results page.
- Stop whenever you like. That platform's slot is then free to watch someone else.
What's included
- Both platforms at once. Watch a Chess.com profile and a Lichess profile at the same time, so you can follow a player wherever they play.
- Up to 20 games a day per profile. That covers a full day of play for most players.
- Every live time control. Bullet, blitz, rapid and classical games are all analyzed. Only correspondence games are left out.
- Your own analyses stay first. Watched games run in the background, so any game you paste in yourself still goes straight to the front of the queue.
Watched profiles are part of Premium, alongside profile deep dives, priority analysis, and your full analysis history.
